“Tamba Ware Pottery Festival” starts on the 10th to 19th of October 2025. This festival is held in October every year and it is the 48th time.

This is one of our biggest Festival in Tambasasayama, where a lot of visitors come visit the potters workshops and galleries to purchase Tamba Ware. Also there are so much events during the festival, here is what you can do during the festival.

▪️You are welcome to visit the potters workshops and gallaries. Some of the potters you can purchase the items in a good deal, or some outlets, pottery experiences and more to enjoy. (each potters do different deals so please check the list in the website. https://tanbayaki-toukimatsuri.com/meguri/ Meet the potter and you might be able to have a chance to see how and where they make them. (10th to 19th October)

▪️ There is a exhibition held “Ichi Oshi Ten, Find your Favourite”, at the Tamba Ware Information Center “kamanjyo”, there are about 50 cups that is going to be at kamanjyo, and you find your favourite and vote for it. You might have a chance to win the top 5 cups.（10th to 19th October) A small food markets on the (11th,12th,13th,18th,19th October) too. So come and take a rest and enjoy.

▪️”Utstuwa Ichi ,Pottery market” held in Sue no Sato. There are going to be 26 potters work there to see at once and the potter is going to be there too. So you will get a chance to purchase and buy their items. (11th and 12th October)

▪️Sue no Sato Marche. Local cuisine food market is going to be there. Coffee, Sake, Curry rice, Ramen, rice cakes and more! why not come and try them. (11th, 12th, 13th, 18th, 19th October)
